This week we are thinking of quick summer tops, like Anker's Summer Shirt by Petite Knit, as well as looking ahead to making heavier garments that will be ready to wear once the season changes. It might seem a bit odd to knit something heavy in the warmer months but it is one way to make sure you have new winter garments ready! 

Caring for your handmade garments is one of the most important parts of the whole making experience. Cleaning and storing your handknits or hand crocheted items correctly will have a huge impact on their longevity and ensure that they are looking as good as new for years to come.

This week we are getting excited about our Holiday Cast Ons! We find it very special to choose a new project to start on or just after Christmas and take some quiet time for ourselves during the busy season. Here are some of the patterns we have our eyes on to create these holidays. 

This week we thought we would look at a few of our favourite Rowan patterns that are perfect for Spring/Summer. We find we love to wear knitted tops even in the warmer months and we also love to knit or crochet tops! They can be quicker to make without the addition of big long sleeves and are perfect to play with colour and texture.
